About the event

It is not enough to not be racist; to create a just and peaceful society we must radically transform our relationships. This requires a comprehensive understanding of how racism harms all aspects of society and the intentional healing of those wounds.

In the workshop, participants will gain an understanding of antiracism principles and theories, as well as a foundational understanding of the discipline of restorative practices and its role in racial healing.

Workshop participants will learn how to:

  • Apply an antiracism lens as a changemaker
  • Harness the power of restorative practices
  • Use these learnings to create positive change

Participants will deepen their antiracism education, explore alternative approaches to repairing the harm of racial injustice, practice new skills through experiential learning, and build new relationships in a community of changemakers.

Donation: A $30 donation is requested as a gift of reciprocity to support the expenses associated with producing the workshop. All are welcome. To inquire about scholarship opportunities please email info@workplacepeaceinstitute.org.
